Clay Day

Clay project in progress......

You will need:

Baking soda
Corn starch
Veggie oil
Coloring - if you want color. We left ours white.

The "cooking" the clay part was super easy. The clean up was even easier. So you don't have to worry about the pan you use and all that. Go here for the recipe and instructions.

The kneading was the best part. I need to knead more.

Making shapes, we found some molds at the craft store that we tried. The clay was very easy to work with. The directions say you can speed up the drying process by putting it in the oven. We just left them to dry. So yesterday while our clay was drying........

We dug through our art supplies and made flowers out of pipe cleaners.

Colored crazy drawings out of scribbles. This shark started out as a scribble on a note card.

Finished clay project post, on the way. I will say they didn't turn out perfect but that's the beauty in art projects.

Today.......a trip to the public library. Yipeeeee!
