These are photos from a lingering craft that started last Friday.
Salt Dough
1 cup flour
1/2 cup salt
1/2 cup water
Mix it all together.
Once it forms a ball, knead it a little until smooth. If your dough is sticky flour up your hands and surface.
Make shapes to your hearts desire.
Once they are fully dry paint them with your acrylic paints.

We put ours in the sun for a day since it has been in the triple digits for days now. We did end up putting them in the oven for a couple more hours on the lowest setting.I used an high-gloss clear spray to seal our artistic efforts.
This last week of summer will be filled with some shopping, crafty ideas, and as much sno-cone eating as possible.
