Sponge-O-Riffic

Today we made sponge balls.

Super easy and super fun.

You will need:
Sponges
Scissors
String
Water
Kids

Cut your sponges in strips.

Stack your strips, 3 strips wide and 3 strips tall is what we decided on.

Tie them up in the middle with string.

Taaa daaaa

Sponge balls soaking and ready to be hurled.

Mid air sponge ball!

I think this idea came by way of Martha Stewart. It was good for a little fun since summer is coming to a close. The kids are getting restless and tired of the heat. Who am I kidding? Ok, it's me that is restless and over heated.
