Marker Caddy

We were all packed the car on a little trip last Sunday. We happened to acquire this drink holder.

My wheels went to turning.

I hot glued all the seams on the bottom for added strength. It would easily fold up otherwise.

Hot glued in some disposable cups by adding a good ring of glue around the bottom of each cup.
Painted the sides with chalk board paint. My favorite.
This drink carrier happened to not have any markings at all so I could have left it alone. Everything is better with a little chalk board paint though!

Filled with the boy's markers, pencils, and twist up crayons.

It won't hold them all since they have a tub full but it will make for one trip to the table to draw and color up a storm. It won't last for ever, for now it's useful and cute.

My grown children already think I've flipped when I as them to save cereal boxes for me to craft with .. when I save these too .. they will be calling my Dr for a mental check. But I can see sooooooo many posibilities for these .. since you've given the lead. Cute and usable. TFS

I've done the same thing with a 6-bottle beer carton, except I used stick on shelf paper on mine. It's kept it on the counter and holds frequently used sprays and sauces, and oils. If need be it can be quickly hidden in the fridge.

It could also be sprayed in baby colors and used as a bottle and burp cloth holder, customized with Baby's name.
