Cinnamon & Sugar Twists

Super quick, super easy, and pretty tasty.

Puff pastry sheets
1 egg
1 tablespoon water
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Thaw puff pastry according to package directions. I set mine on the counter, it took about 45 minutes.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Mix together your sugar and cinnamon(I added a little more).

Mix egg and water together.

Fold out the pastry on a lightly floured surface, brush with egg wash.

Sprinkle on the sugar and cinnamon mixture.

Cut the pastry into strips. I cut longways then folded them in half.

Twist!

Place on a sheet lined with parchment.

Bake for 12-14 minutes.

Grab a cup of coffee to go with your treat.

What a fun way to make a super tasty treat. My family would devour them in seconds. I am going to have to file this away for the future.

Yum! My mom makes something like this with pie dough... but I am a huge fan of puff pastry so these are definitely going in my oven!
