Pizza Bites and Chocolate Covered Everything

This past week was unlike any other.

Ice and snow kept us in the house for a record number of days. School was closed for four days, yes, four days! When you are stuck in the house there is a point when all bets are off. Entertaining the kids and feeding them becomes pretty dicey. Anything remotely healthy is off the table and those video game/computer/DS rules fly out the window.

Pizza Bites

Crescent rolls
Mozzarella cheese
Pepperoni
Pizza sauce

1. Preheat your oven according to the package directions.

2. Roll out your crescents, leaving them rectangles. Squish the seams together then cut it in four squares with a pizza cutter or knife. So that will make 16 bites total.

3. Blob of cheese and 2 pepperoni slices in each square.

4. Wrap the crescent around the cheese and pepperoni pinching it together, plop in a pan lined with parchment paper.

5. Bake according to package directions. Your looking for golden brown here.

6. Dip in pizza sauce and savor.

Between the eating....

I worked on Valentine cards for the boy's classmates and teachers.

Then we covered things in chocolate.....

Nilla wafers.....

bananas with sprinkles......

chips, pretzels, and tiny marshmallows.

We are due to thaw out tomorrow with temperatures above freezing. A trip out of the house will be in order to help this mom restore a little sanity.

If you haven't entered my sweet giveaway do that now.

I'll be hanging out at all my favorite parties as always.
